Art Exhibition on Theme of Class Education Opens
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- An art exhibition on the theme of class education was opened at the Pyongyang International House of Culture on June 23 with the approach of June 25, the day of struggle against U.S. imperialism.

Displayed at the venue of the exhibition are more than 70 art works including Korean paintings, oil paintings, sculptures and calligraphic works dealing with the crime-woven history and brutal atrocities of the U.S. and Japanese imperialists and class enemies who inflicted untold misfortune and sufferings upon the Korean people.

The works disclose the atrocities of the U.S. imperialists who massacred patriots and innocent inhabitants in the most brutal and cruel ways during the period of the strategic temporary retreat of the past Fatherland Liberation War.

They reflect the heroic struggle of our army and people who mercilessly annihilated the U.S. imperialists and class enemies, and miserable plight of the aggressors.

They lay bare the brutal and shameless hideous crimes of the Japanese imperialists, the sworn enemy who had occupied Korea for nearly half a century and forced unpardonable slavish submission upon the Korean people, and the nature and invariable ambition of the exploiting classes.

Such posters as "Let us take revenge upon class enemies a thousand-fold!" show the faith and will of all the people to put an edge on class enemies with the transparent anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. class consciousness and revenge.

Officials concerned, officials in the field of the art and working people in Pyongyang City looked round the venue of the exhibition.

The exhibition goes on until July 30.
