The museum is an eternal treasure house adding shine to President Kim Il Sung's feats for the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and Chairman Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary exploits and a grand seat of victory conveying to the whole world the heroic fighting spirit and merits of the generation who defeated the U.S. imperialists in the war. It is also a centre for education in the victorious traditions hardening the will of the civilians and servicepersons in the DPRK to give steady continuity to the ever-victorious history and a main base for the anti-U.S. class education.

The visitors to it brace themselves to demonstrate to the whole world the dignity and mightiness of the DPRK, closely rallied around the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, following the spirit of the heroic generation who created a myth of great victory in the war under the leadership of the President.

More than 3, 069, 000 working people of various strata, service personnel and schoolchildren have visited the museum up to now since July Juche 102 (2013).
