Month of Anti-U.S. Joint Struggle Observed Abroad
Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Organizations in different countries released statements on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

The Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK in its statement said:

The United States occupied south Korea along with the end of the Second World War and unleashed the Korean War on June 25, 1950, out of its ambition to dominate the world through occupation of the whole of Korea.

The Korean War was a fierce war unprecedented in history.

In the three-year war, the U.S. suffered serious losses, which were almost 2.3 times as big as the ones it did in the Pacific War, and it could not but sign the armistice agreement.

The Korean people inflicted bitter defeat on the U.S. in the war that could be called the confrontation between a rifle and an A-bomb.

The British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula in its statement said that the atrocities, committed by the U.S. imperialists in the Korean War, put into the shade even the crimes by the Hitler fascists in terms of cruelty and brutality.

The Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK in its statement stressed that the armistice state of at least 70 years should be terminated and a lasting peace mechanism established in the Korean Peninsula, strongly urging the U.S. to stop the hostility towards the DPRK.

The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea noted that organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and the progressive people the world over set the period from June 25 to July 27 every year as a month of anti-U.S. joint struggle and have conducted vigorous activities urging the U.S. forces' withdrawal from south Korea and the repeal of the U.S. anti-DPRK policy.
