Meetings of Chongryon Central Leadership Bodies Held

Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- Meetings of the central leadership bodies of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) were held to fully implement the decisions made at the 25th Congress of Chongryon, true to the idea of the historic letter sent by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un to the participants in the congress.

Read out at the meetings was "Let Us Open a New Era of Rejuvenation of Chongryon by Enlisting the Inexhaustible Strength of the Compatriots of Various Social Strata", Kim Jong Un's letter to the participants in the 25th Chongryon Congress.

The 25th Congress of the Korean Youth League in Japan took place on June 26, the 31st Congress of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan on June 11, and the 32nd Congress of the Union of Korean Teachers in Japan and the 35th General Meeting of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan on June 25.

The meetings heard reports and speeches.

Letters to the respected Marshal were read out at the 25th Congress of the Korean Youth League in Japan and the 31st Congress of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan.
