Stable Anti-epidemic Situation in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- With the state unified command system and social anti-epidemic discipline intensifying to restore complete security in the anti-epidemic drive, the overall anti-epidemic situation is admirably controlled and managed in the DPRK.

All the sectors and units, maintaining the highest alert posture, focus on surely preserving initiative and tactical superiority in the anti-epidemic campaign by displaying strong team spirit and practical ability in executing the anti-epidemic policies and measures of the Party and the state.

The state emergency anti-epidemic headquarters and the public health sector take technical measures to coordinate the orientation of action flexibly and conduct the anti-epidemic work more offensively not only to resolve the problems pending immediate solution in the current anti-epidemic work but also to successfully cope with any future health crisis.

They further improve the remedies for the aftereffects of those who recovered from the epidemic disease by choosing at random those who suffer from aftereffects in cities and counties and concretely examining and analyzing their clinical symptoms, medicines used by them and side effects.

More than one million health workers, teachers and students of the institutions training medical workers and hygienic workers contribute to managing the anti-epidemic situation in a stable way by finding, quarantining and treating fever cases in good time.

Preventive and curative medical care organs across the country provide treatment in strict conformity with a treatment guide, sharing and generalizing the achievements and experience gained in clinical practice.

Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories across the country strive to develop and produce various anti-fever and anti-viral medicines with materials rich in the country. As a result, the overall output of different Koryo medicines has increased by four times as compared to the same period of last year.
