Construction Projects Stepped up in Jagang Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Jagang Province in the DPRK has dynamically pushed ahead with construction and reconstruction projects for the regional independent and multilateral development. The province directs big efforts to the construction of minor hydraulic power stations, including the Hungju Youth Power Station No. 5. Builders, involved in the construction of the Hungju Youth Power Station No. 5, finished the construction of dam and generator room in the set time before putting spurs to the preparations for installing water gate. The province is also stepping up the construction of a goat farm and a milk processing base on Sadok tableland with rich feed grass resource. Jonchon and Tongsin counties hasten the construction of a mineral water factory and a sanatorium respectively and Kanggye City speeds up the construction of an open-air theater and an air club at the final stage. Besides, the project for construction and reconstruction of tens of objects is going on for the development of local economy and the improvement of the people's livelihood. |
