Rodong Sinmun says in its editorial that the revolutionary idea and feats of the President serve as the banner of victory and glory of our revolution and eternal treasures guaranteeing the bright future of Juche Korea.

He is the outstanding leader, matchless patriot and peerlessly elder statesman who performed immortal feats before the country and the people, the times and the revolution, the editorial says, and goes on:

He brought about a dramatic turn in the position and destiny of our people groaning under the colonial subordination and feudal yoke and turned Korea, once eclipsed in the world map, into a country of Juche, the socialist country. This is the great feat made by him.

His revolutionary practice is a noteworthy miracle in the history of modern politics as he pushed forward the cause of state building with his strong faith and will of independence despite the grim circumstances in which the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists and dominationists prevailed.

He, regarding the unity as a fundamental guarantee for all victories from the first day of his revolutionary struggle, rallied the broad masses of people and roused them to set an example of the times in socialist construction.

His revolutionary life is recorded as the sacred course in which he had always shared the weal and woe with the people, regarding the idea of "The People Are God" as his motto.

Minju Joson praises the President as the founder of socialist Korea as he built the people-centered socialist state for the first time in history and provided a firm foundation for the eternal prosperity of the country and the nation.
