Guide for Treating Aftereffects of COVID-19 Issued in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- Amid the intensified work to finally defuse the epidemic crisis and restore the anti-epidemic stability, a guide for treating aftereffects of COVID-19 was issued to curative and preventive organs at all levels in the capital and local areas and to the relevant units.

As regards the occurrence of various aftereffects among the patients recovered from Omicron variant, the Ministry of Public Health minutely organized a work to working out a scientific treatment guide as part of the countermeasure.

Competent experts from various central hospitals analyzed and synthesized the document data and the clinical experience they obtained in the course of epidemic treatment and, on this basis, drew up the guide for treating aftereffects.

The treatment guide, divided into sections for adult, children and expectant and nursing mothers, consists of such parts as conception and cause of aftereffects, pathogenesis, clinical signs, criterion and general treatment principle.

The guide gives in detail the treatment methods according to various symptoms.
