| Steps Taken to Prevent Flood Damage and Ensure Normal Electricity Supply

| Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the power industrial sector of the DPRK are concentrating their efforts on the supply of enough electricity to different economic sectors while taking thorough measures to prevent possible damage in the rainy season. Hydro-power stations make it normal to overhaul the vulnerable structures and equipment including sluice gates and dams. The thermal power plants take preliminary measures to find out and set right the dangerous places and objects. The electric transmission stations and substations are supplying electricity in time by removing risks and dangerous elements beforehand through regular checking of transmission lines and transformation equipment. |
