Kim Il Sung at the Central Hall of Chongryon in Tokyo on July 8, the 28th anniversary of his demise.

Present at the ceremony were Chairman Ho Jong Man, First Vice-Chairman and Director of the Organizational Department Pak Ku Ho, vice-chairpersons, department directors of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and officials of central leadership bodies.

Ho Jong Man and Pak Ku Ho placed a floral basket before the portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung and the participants made a bow to him, praying for his immortality.

Kang Chu Ryon, vice-chairwoman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan, Ri Kwang Il, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, and other officials of the youth league, the women's union, the Union of Korean Teachers in Japan, the Korean Educationists Association in Japan, the Korean Health Workers Association in Japan and the Union of Korean Students in Japan laid bouquets before the portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung and made a bow to him.
