Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- The chairperson of the C.C., Worker-Peasant Party of Pakistan, a member of the C.C., Pakistan Awami National Party, the chairperson of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, the chairperson of the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies and other Pakistani personages made public a joint press statement on July 4 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle. Noting it was an unpardonable heinous crime that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppets provoked the Korean War, the press statement said: The Korean War was the cruelest-ever and destructive war that killed countless Korean people and reduced the whole of the northern half of the Republic to ashes. Peace of the Korean peninsula is still now exposed to threat, due to the U.S. policy hostile towards the DPRK. Recently, the U.S. staged joint military drills targeting the DPRK. We strongly condemn the war drills that pose a big threat to the peace of the Asia-Pacific and the rest of the world. If the U.S. wants peace of the Korean peninsula, it should repeal its hostile policy towards the DPRK. We, together with the world progressives, will more widely conduct the solidarity activities supporting the struggle of the Korean people. |
