According to data available, hundreds of preparatory cutting faces have been provided, more than 320 pumps and electric motors installed or repaired and over 42, 900 cubic meters of water tanks newly built or rearranged throughout the Ministry of Coal Industry.

And at least 210 kilometers-long coal hauling tracks were repaired, hundreds of kilometers-long drainage canals rearranged and a pipe laying project successfully carried out at 14, 000 meters-long sections.

Officials of the ministry and relevant units are taking thorough measures against all the factors vulnerable to downpour and gale on the spot. They have also urged the relevant units to make full preparations for timely coping with any possible damage under the natural disaster alert and information system.
