Mass Movements Conducive to Implementation of Party Decisions

Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- True to the idea and spirit of the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee, women's union officials and members in Kaesong City of the DPRK are conducting various mass movements conductive to the implementation of the Party's decisions.

They transported thousands of tons of compost to farm fields in the first half of the year and have rendered labor assistance to the farm work.

They work together with farmers on fields and stage agitprop activities to encourage the masses at a break.

Some women's union members provided tens of goats to kindergartens.

The city urged the women's union members to take an active part in the procurement work of materials lying idle and internal reserves and raise the quality and quantity of consumer goods in high demand through normal operation of home industry workteams.
