In different parts of the DPRK, there are many mineral springs. Among them is Chongsan Mineral Water in Chongsan-ri, Kangso District of Nampho City.

This water is known to have high medicinal value. It contains lots of ions good for health such as sodium, calcium, magnesium and iron ions.
