| More Youths Volunteer to Work at Challenging Sectors

| Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- More than 100 young people in Jagang Province of the DPRK volunteered to work at difficult and labor-consuming sectors of socialist construction. A meeting took place at Jagang Provincial Art Theatre on July 21 to congratulate the young volunteers. Attending it were Kang Pong Hun, chief secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league, youths and students. The volunteers were awarded a flag of the youth league and volunteer certificates, and congratulatory and oath-taking speeches made at the meeting. After a congratulatory art performance, the officials and young people warmly sent off the volunteers. |
