Diverse IT Services Given in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- The Central Information Agency for Science and Technology of the DPRK has contributed to training talented workers and developing science and technology in each sector and unit through diverse IT services.

The agency pushes ahead with the work to collect, analyze, evaluate and disseminate domestic and foreign information on advanced science and technology.

It issued more than 10 kinds of technology magazines and books helpful to solving the technical problems arising in the modernization of electric power, coal, metallurgical and chemical industries, rail transport and education.

Kwangmyong, an information search and management system, is appreciated by scientists, technicians and working people as a lot of sci-tech achievements are newly added to the system in various languages and the agency established an ordering system of data.

The agency gives several forms of services promoting the technological development and updating at relevant sectors, industrial establishments and units.

Its application programs for tablet computers and hand phones dealing with common sense are also contributing to the people's leisure and health.
