She was born into a poor tenant's family before national liberation and subjected to all maltreatment and humiliation, experiencing the sorrow of being stateless. It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she could lead a genuine life.

She took the lead in supporting the front during the Fatherland Liberation War and devoted herself to the postwar reconstruction after the war. She worked as an official of the women's union and head of people's neighborhood unit for years, making a positive construction to the prosperity of the country.

She brought up seven children to be pillars of the country and always asks them to do lots of work for the state.
