In April Juche 40 (1951), President Kim Il Sung visited the place in the thick of the war to instill the invincible resources and courage into the minds of the officers and men of the People's Army taking charge of the duty to defend the coast in the area of Wonsan and arouse the people to the victory in the war.

Looking round the photos of the President displayed at the Ryongpho Revolutionary Museum, the visitors keenly felt the personality of the great man.

Going round the house where the President spent one night, they could not repress their passion with yearning for the peerlessly great man who worked heart and soul for the victory in the war at an ordinary farmhouse.

They also visited the spot where the President delivered a speech "Enhance the Combat Efficiency of the Unit and Make Our Coastal Defence Impregnable" on April 28, 1951.
