Put on the stage were poems and songs reflecting the younger generation's will to carry forward forever the feats of President Kim Il Sung who brought the victory in the war on July 27 and the heroic spirit displayed by the defenders of the country in the 1950s.

Through narrative poem "For National Defence", poem "For My Only Motherland", song "Our Supreme Commander" and other art works, the performers showed well the ardent patriotism and the spirit of devotedly defending the leader displayed by the brave soldiers of the People's Army in the days of the war.

Also staged were songs depicting the remarkable development of the DPRK and the will of all the people to win a series of bigger victories under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Attending the gathering were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials of the union.
