Upon receiving the exciting news that a gathering of participants in the Fatherland Liberation War will be held again, all the people extend warm congratulations to the war veterans representing the era of legendary heroes, who will enjoy the highest glory and happiness under the great benevolence of the Party Central Committee.

Representatives of the generation of war victors were invited to the July 27 celebrations to be held in Pyongyang with splendor, where fireworks for celebrating the war victory were let off 69 years ago and military parades have been held to celebrate the victory day.

They were warmly seen off by officials of Party and power organs, working people, youth and students, their families and relatives in their residential areas.

Cadres of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea warmly greeted the war veterans who arrived here by plane, train and bus.

Streets of the capital were seething with fervent enthusiasm of citizens welcoming the brave frontline fighters of the great years who dedicated themselves to glorifying the young DPRK as the heroic country of miracles and bequeathed the invaluable traditions of victory to the rising generations as their mental and moral legacy.

A lot of citizens, youths and students waved their hands and bouquets to the buses carrying the war veterans along Yonggwang Street, Sungri Street, Changjon Crossroads and Ryomyong Street.
