The visitors warmly congratulated the participants at the lodging quarters.

They included Choe Ryong Hae and Pak Jong Chon, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), and Ri Il Hwan, Kim Jae Ryong, Pak Thae Song, Jong Kyong Thaek, O Il Jong, Ri Son Gwon, Pak Su Il and other officials.

Courteously conveying the lists of gifts sent by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the war veterans, the cadres told them about the great benevolence of him who projects the generation of war victors as the writers of a great history and grateful saviors who dedicated their blood and lives to defending the country bravely.

They also handed over participation certificates and invitation cards for war victory day celebrations to the war veterans, hoping that they would enjoy longevity in good health as the mental mainstay leading the rising generations to the road of patriotism and loyalty for the country and the revolution.

On the same day all the war veterans across the country were awarded the lists of gifts sent by Kim Jong Un and participation certificates for the 8th National Conference of War Veterans.

The war veterans voiced their deep gratitude to Kim Jong Un for bestowing warm benevolence upon them, valuing their careers as the precious call of the great victors and crowning them with the warmest love and trust as days go by.
