Taking part in the march were 2,000 students from different universities in Pyongyang including Kim Il Sung University and Kim Chaek University of Technology.

Amid the playing of the song "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung", they began their march at the plaza of the April 25 House of Culture, flying the national flag of the DPRK which war veterans had flied high on the heights of victory during the war and which was handed over by the generation of war victors.

University students march in fine array, singing in chorus the wartime songs sung by the brave fighters of the Korean People's army during war.

Pyongyang citizens waved hands to the students marching through the streets, loudly singing songs "July 27 March" and "Victory Will Be Won Generation after Generation", full of spirit to glorify our idea and social system which the forerunners defended at the cost of their lives and to invariably carry forward the tradition of victory.
