| Jonsung Cup Sports Contest Held

| Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The Sports Contest for Jonsung Cup took place in Pyongyang and local areas from July 3 to 27 on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. During the contest, hundreds of men and women players selected from ten-odd sports teams, including the April 25 Sports Team and the Ryesonggang Sports Team, competed in several events such as swimming and yacht. All the players fully displayed their physical and technical capabilities in each event. The first place in senior women's water polo tournament was taken by the Sports Team under the Ministry of Fisheries. The players from the Sports Team under the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport made good records in sculls and model ship tournaments. |
