Young People Volunteer to Work at Challenging Sectors

Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- More than 110 graduates of senior middle schools in North Phyongan Province of the DPRK volunteered to work at the challenging sectors of socialist construction with high enthusiasm to stand in the van of the general advance for implementing the decisions of the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Triplets in Nyongbyon County decided to devote their whole lives to the work for the management of the revolutionary battle sites at the foot of Jong Il Peak.

Graduates in Jongju City and Ryongchon, Phihyon, Tongchang, Unsan and Sakju counties volunteered to work at the Sinuiju Textile Mill, the Phungnyon Mine, etc.

And those in Yomju, Sonchon, Sindo and Pyokdong counties volunteered to work at youth workteams and subworkteams of farms.

Young people in Sinuiju and Kusong cities and Uiju, Kwaksan, Cholsan, Hyangsan, Taegwan and Chonma counties vowed to work at the city and county construction brigades.

A congratulatory meeting took place at the North Phyongan Provincial Art Theatre on July 29.

Officials, youth and students warmly sent the volunteers off, presenting bouquets to them.
