The Shenyang City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association under the General Association of Koreans in China (GAKC) held a lecture meeting in Shenyang, China on July 24.

Attending it were Choe Su Bong, first vice-chairman of the GAKC, vice chairpersons, members of its Central Standing Committee, chairpersons of the regional associations and citizens in Shenyang.

At the meeting Kwon Hon, chairperson of the Liaoning Regional Association, highly praised President Kim Il Sung for leading the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War to a shining victory and demonstrating before the world the dignity and spirit of heroic Korea.

He affirmed that the compatriots in the homeland would surely achieve world-startling successes in their struggle, when they keep in mind the devoted defence of the leader as their highest honor and requirement of life, following the noble fighting spirit of those who defended and built the country, and remain loyal to the idea and intention of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The Yanbian Regional Association of the GAKC held a celebration meeting in Yanji City, Jilin Province of China, on July 27.

Attending it were Cha Sang Bo, vice-chairman of the GAKC and concurrently chairman of the Yanbian Regional Association, vice-chairperson of the regional association and compatriots of the Yanji City Branch.

Speakers expressed their will to devote all their wisdom and passion to the patriotic work for making their country stronger and more prosperous true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un, saying that they would always remember the exploits for war victory performed by the President no matter how much water may flow under the bridge.

Similar meetings were held by the Harbin City Branch of the Harbin Regional Association and the Jilin Province Regional Association of the GAKC on July 25 and 27.
