Present at the show were personages and members of the People's Assembly of Syria and the Syria-Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group and the charge d'affaires ad interim and members of the DPRK embassy in Damascus.

The participants watched a video on the proud reality of the DPRK bolstering up its invincible defence capability.

A director of the People's Assembly of Syria said at the event:

The bilateral cooperative relations invariably developing under the care of President Bashar Al-Assad and His Excellency Kim Jong Un are a common wealth of the peoples in the two countries.

We are rejoiced over the fact that the DPRK has made great achievements in various sectors under the courageous and bold decisions and leadership of HE Kim Jong Un.

All steps taken by the DPRK to bolster the national defence capability are the legitimate self-defensive right of the sovereign state to cope with the U.S. and other hostile forces' undisguised moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK.

Syria is sure that the DPRK will resolutely smash all sorts of challenge and reliably defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country and the happiness of the people.

The vice-chairperson of the Syria-Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group expressed the will to strive for the development of the bilateral relations of friendship, saying that they heartily congratulate the DPRK on having strengthened its military power, achieved the economic progress and demonstrated its dignity as a world power under the wise leadership of HE Kim Jong Un.
