Taking part in it are excellent soccer teams belonging to A class.

Twelve teams will play the league matches, divided into two groups. And then the two top teams from each group will have the semifinals and finals.

In Group A are April 25, Pyongyang, Rimyongsu, Amnokgang, Sonbong and Ministry of Light Industry teams and in Group B Kigwancha, Sobaeksu, Hwaebul, Ryomyong, Wolmido and Jebi teams.

There were matches between Amnokgang and Pyongyang teams and between Ministry of Light Industry and April 25 teams that day. The Amnokgang team and the April 25 team beat their rivals 5:0 and 2:1 respectively.

The tournament continues until August 28.
