Workers at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex have stepped up the construction of a new energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace and the overhaul of the existing furnace while pushing ahead with the production as planned.

Those of the Chollima Steel Complex launched the project for installing a continuous casting machine with large capacity, while supplying the planned iron and steel to major construction sites including the Hwasong area where the construction of 10, 000 flats is going on.
