At the meeting, speakers praised the immortal revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who waged a long and bloody anti-Japanese war to achieve the historic feat of national liberation and built a genuine country of the people and an invincible socialist state on this land.

They lauded the greatness of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is fully demonstrating the dignity and strength of the DPRK.

Present at the meeting were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the GFTUK and workers and trade union members in Pyongyang.
