Anniversary of Korea's Liberation Marked in Nepal
Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organizations in Nepal, including the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association and the Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics, made public a joint statement on August 10 to mark the 77th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Noting that Korea was liberated from the Japanese colonial rule on August 15, 1945, the statement said this historic day is of weighty significance to the Korean people who had covered the road of victory and glory under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il and are stepping up the building of a thriving country, united close around HE Kim Jong Un.

It stressed that the efforts made by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the country and the nation and their exploits for the cause of independence against imperialism would shine long with the century.

The statement expressed full support and firm solidarity with the Korean people in their struggle to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered and victoriously advanced by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and being wisely led by Kim Jong Un.
