Wreaths Laid at Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong
Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on Sunday on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Attending the wreath-laying ceremony were leading Party and government officials, officials from the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet, other officials from Party and power organs in Pyongyang and members of armed forces organs. Among them were Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, first vice-president of the SAC of the DPRK and chairman of the SPA Standing Committee, and Ri Il Hwan, Kim Jae Ryong, Pak Jong Gun, Pak Su Il and Kim Yong Hwan.

The DPRK national anthem was played.

Amid the playing of the wreath-laying music, wreaths in the names of the WPK Central Committee, the SAC of the DPRK, the SPA Standing Committee of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet were laid at the wreath-laying stand.

The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs.

On the same day, wreaths were laid at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery in Hyesan by officials of Party and administrative organs and working people's organizations in Ryanggang Province and service personnel.
