On the day of national liberation (August 15, 1945), the Korean people recollect with deep emotion the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung who led the great anti-Japanese war to victory by defeating the gangster-like Japanese imperialists and achieved the historic cause of national liberation.

During the great anti-Japanese war, the President had one million of the Imperial Japanese Army under his thumb with his superb strategy and tactics.

Among the superb strategy and tactics were the tactic of appearing now in the east and now in the west like a flash, the tactic of violent attack and tenacious pursuit, the tactic of marching a long distance at a step and the lure-and-attack tactics, which led every battle to victory.

Thanks to the wise leadership of the President, the legendary hero, the Korean people could win in the hard-fought anti-Japanese revolutionary war and accomplish the historic cause of national liberation.
