In recent years, the factory has turned out more than 150 kinds of jigs and equipment and different kinds of medical appliances like modern general dental and ear-nose-throat-treating equipment by introducing the advanced moulding technology.

It could be developed into a leading factory in the country's medical appliance industry, thanks to the wise guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

When visiting the factory in August Juche 107 (2018), the General Secretary said that the public health sector should decisively improve its material and technical foundation for the people to enjoy the modern medical service benefit to the full. And he took important measures to turn the factory into a model playing the leading role in the medical appliance industry.

He visited the factory again in October 2019 to learn about the efficiency of its trial products. Saying that the factory should not only produce lots of medical apparatuses vital for protecting and promoting the people's lives but also guarantee the quality of products, he stressed it is precisely an issue related to the outlook on the people.

Officials and employees of the factory are now putting spurs to the increase of the kinds of products and the production of high-performance medical appliances, true to the noble intention of the Workers' Party of Korea regarding it as the most crucial task to protect and promote the people's health.
