Kim Il Sung University, University of Sciences and the Ministry of Chemical Industry put spurs to the research and development of slow effective fertilizer capable of raising the nitrogen absorption rate more than 1.5 times than before and to the establishment of its production process.

The Agricultural Commission directs efforts to making full preparations for the completion of the industrial production technology of slow effective fertilizer and calculating its consumption amount according to crops in a scientific way.

The Hamhung Branch of the State Academy of Sciences and a research group of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex have pushed ahead with the research of the slow effective fertilizer and the preparation for establishing its production process.
