The chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (United Socialist) said that Korea was liberated from the Japanese colonial rule of 40-odd years on August 15, 1945 under the outstanding leadership of the President.

With the day, the Korean people could build a socialist society centered on the popular masses and a solid socialist state free from any outsiders' influence, he added.

The chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgyz El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan said that the Korean people put an end to the colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists and embarked upon the broad road of building a new society, adding that today the appearance of the DPRK has been changed fundamentally.

The vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt said that August 15 is a significant day for the Korean people who had been subject to sufferings by the Japanese imperialists and for the world progressives, adding that the Korean people became masters of a new country after throwing off the colonial yoke under the heroic leadership of Kim Il Sung, a legendary great man.

The chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia said that the DPRK was turned into a prosperous socialist power in a short span of time from a backward and completely destructed country.
