Symposium on Science and Technology in Field of Hothouse Vegetables-2022 Held

Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- The Symposium on Science and Technology in the Field of Hothouse Vegetables-2022 was held through videoconferencing from Aug. 17 to 23. It took place under the sponsorship of the Association of Vegetable Technology of Korea under the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

This symposium, held on the theme of "Scientific, IT-based and intensive production of hothouse vegetables", is aimed at sharing and popularizing the successes and experience gained in the studies of the technology for the cultivation of hothouse vegetables and in their production.

Published at the symposium were over 80 scientific and technological papers presented by more than 50 units, including the Pyongyang Vegetable Science Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science and the Wonsan University of Agriculture.

During the symposium there were various sci-tech lectures, video watching and exhibition.
