| Patriotic Spirit and Heroic Stamina Displayed in DPRK

| Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- The patriotic spirit and heroic stamina of young people are being displayed in the historic advance for hastening a new victory of the revolution under the leadership of the great Party Central Committee. The August 28 Youth Shock Brigade, organized in February Juche 92 (2003) by the measure taken by Chairman Kim Jong Il, has achieved proud successes of labour at major worksites of socialist construction for nearly two decades. During these days, more than 50 persons received Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize, 9 people were awarded the title of labor hero and many other officers and members of the shock brigade received high-level state commendations. |
