Unsatisfied with just driving the Korean people into hard labor, the Japanese imperialist brutes continued their slaughter even after their defeat.

This is clearly proved by the explosion of the ship Ukishima-maru on August 24, 77 years ago.

At that time, the Japanese imperialists took thousands of Koreans on Ukishima-maru by conciliating and compelling them that the ship headed for Pusan and it was the only one heading for Korea, in order to revenge its defeat by killing even one more Korean.

The Japanese imperialists blew up the ship in the sea some 300 meters off Maizuru Port, Kyoto Prefecture.

As a result, lots of Koreans who were forcibly drafted to Japan were buried in the sea off Maizuru in a group by the beasts.

This being a fact, the Japanese imperialists tried to cover up the truth of the crime by making the captain of Ukishima-maru claim the incident as "inevitable accident".

However, the verbal evidence of survivors and all the corroborative facts clearly proved that the explosion incident was the premeditated and intentional crime of the Japanese imperialists.

No matter how much water has flowed under the bridge, the hideous unethical crimes of Japanese imperialist brutes can never be covered up nor be erased.
