Attending the meeting were members and alternate members of the UAWK Central Committee.

The plenary meeting discussed the task of the UAWK organizations for strengthening the ideological education by seizing the work of transforming men and for waging the socialist patriotic movement.

Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the C.C., UAWK, made a report.

The reporter mentioned the ways for bringing up all the members of the UAWK to be the communists armed with the Juche idea and waging a patriotic movement conducive to accelerating the victorious advance of socialist construction.

He stressed the need for the UAWK organizations to awaken and train its members politically by intensifying the work for imbuing them with the lines and policies of the Party and strengthening the education to instill into them the awareness of the masters responsible for farming.

He underlined the need for the organizations and officials of the UAWK to contribute to opening a new great era of the socialist rural development by conducting the ideological education for preparing the agricultural workers and members of the UAWK to be the communists and patriotic farmers fully armed with the revolutionary idea of our Party and by launching a socialist patriotic movement conducive to strengthening the national power.
