The Ministry of Culture significantly organized a nationwide crash course for different art subjects with a view to enhancing the local art education level before making sure that teachers at provincial conservatories attended it.

Officials of the ministry personally went to provincial conservatories to see to it that the crash course proved successful, and ensured that excellent teachers at Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory, Pyongyang University of Fine Arts and other central educational organs contributed to improving the quality of teaching during the course.

There was a course in vocal music at Phyongsong Conservatory amid the interest of the participants.
