The chairman in the message extended sincere congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the visit to the Far Eastern Region of the Russian Federation by Kim Jong Il, eternal chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, which serves as an important event for the two countries and peoples.

Noting that the visit was paid in the warm and friendly atmosphere peculiar to the relations between the two countries, the message said:

The meeting between Comrade Kim Jong Il and President V. V. Putin during the visit served as an important landmark for successfully developing the bilateral relations and safeguarding peace in the Korean Peninsula.

The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia founded by Vladimir Zhirinovsky, one of the oldest political parties in Russia, will maintain its policy of comprehensively developing and expanding the party and parliamentary connection between the Russian Federation and the DPRK in the future too.

The message wished Kim Jong Un happiness in good health and the Korean people prosperity.
