President Kim Il Sung went to this place in June, Juche 31 (1942), and indicated the orientation and ways for small unit members of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army to build more temporary secret bases in different places and intensify military and political activities.

The visitors looked round the base, being told about the fact that the President turned the border area along the shore of the River Tuman into the bulwark of revolution and the invisible fortress by intensifying the activities of the small units and the groups for political underground activities at home, and energetically led the struggle to liberate Korea through the all-people resistance.

During the study tour of the base, they had a meeting of disseminating revolutionary songs, chorus contest and meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas read by them.
