Rodong Sinmun Calls for Turning out in Struggle for Prosperity and Development of DPRK
Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Thursday says in an editorial that the aspiration and desire of the Korean people to bring earlier the prosperous and bright future, holding aloft our state-first principle, are growing stronger day by day.

Let us bring a fresh phase of national development under the unfurled banner of our state-first principle. This is the steadfast faith and will of our people, the editorial says, and goes on:

Our state-first principle is the prime ideological feeling of our people in the era.

Our state-first principle is the ideological and mental source making the country and the people share their destiny and inspiring all the people to the struggle for the prosperity of the country.

To arouse and comprehensively embody our state-first principle kept in the minds of the people-herein lies the way for the comprehensive development of our style of socialism.

The present era is the one in which the struggle for consolidating the strength of our state and realizing the dream and ideal of our people as soon as possible is being waged in all fields of socialist construction. When all the people wage a devoted struggle and give full play to the nobility and personality as befitting the people of a powerful country in all aspects of their day-to-day work and life, keeping in mind the mightiness and invincibility of our state, the country will be more prosperous.

Only when all the people regard it as a habit to behave with pride and consciousness as the citizens of a powerful country and turn out as one in the struggle for the development of the state, the bright future of our style of socialism will be brought earlier.

All the people should turn out as one in the struggle for the prosperity and development of the Republic, cherishing the great pride and self-respect of living in the dignified and powerful socialist country.
