The Hochongang Power Station No. 3, the cement and repair shops of the Sangwon Cement Complex and another unit were awarded the title of the Thrice Model Technical Innovation Unit, the mechanized workteam of the Songhung Farm in Anju City, the Suan County Post Office and other 31 units the title of Twice Model Technical Innovation Unit, and the Mangyongdae District Power Distribution Station, the Taedong County Foodstuff Factory and other 41 units the title of Model Technical Innovation Unit.

Officials of those units took the lead in making technical progress and increasing technical forces, regarding science and technology as the lifeline of developing their units.
