| Railway Transport Sector Fulfills Monthly Plan

| Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- Freight transport plan for August was fulfilled at the Ministry of Railways thanks to the devoted efforts of its workers who are striving to implement the decisions of the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. The Pyongyang Railway Bureau transported in time the materials needed for the major construction sites and several other economic sectors by increasing the operation rate of the locomotives and freight cars. Workers of the Hamhung Railway Bureau ensured the transport demand for several sectors including the construction site in the Ryonpho area in a responsible manner. The Chongjin Railway Bureau carried out the daily freight transport plan without fail by scrupulously conducting the work for the formation and service of locomotives. Workers of the Kaechon and Rason railway bureaus, too, transported the materials necessary for the rural housing construction in a top-priority way. |
