National Fine Art Exhibition Opens in DPRK
Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- A national fine art exhibition (pictorial art sector) opened to mark the 74th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

On display at the exhibition are art works depicting the images of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Oil painting "birth", Korean paintings "days when national flag and emblem of new Korea was produced" and "days when 'Pyongyang Speed' was created" and other works show the immortal exploits of the President who founded the most advantageous people's country on this land and set an example of the times in building a socialist power.

Korean painting "glorifying the revolutionary tradition of Mt Paektu" and oil painting "indicating the orientation of the up-to-date sci-tech development" deal with the world of patriotic devotion of the Chairman who provided the eternal foundations for the prosperity of the Republic with his iron will and superhuman energy.

Also displayed at the exhibition are fine art works including Korean paintings, oil paintings and woodcuts which show that a new era of self-existence and prosperity was ushered in and the dignity and might of a powerful state are fully demonstrated to the world as we hold the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem.

There were also art works depicting our people who making all efforts for the country, and the advantages of the Korean-style socialist system which are being demonstrated despite the worst-ever public health crisis.

An opening ceremony took place at the Korean Art Gallery on September 2.
