Work for Preventing Damage from Typhoon Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- With forecasts and warnings of heavy rain, storms and gale being issued across the DPRK, all the industrial establishments push forward with the work to prevent natural disaster through mass movement.

Officials of relevant units check again the work to prevent damage from Typhoon No. 11 and take double and triple emergency measures.

They identify the buildings that are prone to damage and areas in danger of flooding and landslides and make all efforts to see to it that loss in lives does not occur due to accidental incidents.

They take precautionary measures to make sure that equipment is not be destroyed and materials are not damaged from heavy rain, gale or thunder.

They learn about the areas prone to landslides and take measures. They also take measure to protect and reinforce locomotives, freight cars, railway bridges and railroads.

Fishery units rapidly evacuate fishing boats in waters and seas where the typhoon might pass and make them return to port, and execute the organizational work quickly and correctly to protect coastal structures and fish culture grounds.
