DPRK Labor Hero Title Awarded to Broadcasting Workers of Distinguished Services

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The title of Labor Hero of the DPRK was awarded to Kim Ki Ryong, chairman of the Central Broadcasting Committee of Korea, and Ri Chun Hi, chief broadcaster of the committee, on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the DPRK.

While working in the broadcasting sector for a long time, they greatly contributed to arousing the Party members and other working people to the implementation of the Party's policies with great proficiency and unique art of narration, being armed with the Party's Juche-oriented theory of broadcasting.

An awarding ceremony was held on Tuesday.

Present at the ceremony was Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly.
