Many Cartoons Produced in DPRK for Last Ten Years
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The Korea April 26 Animation Studio produced a hundred and tens of cartoon films in the last ten years.

They include the series of cartoon "The Boy General" from part 51 to part 100 and 40 parts of historical animation "Ko Ju Mong". "The Boy General" with the theme of patriotism deals with the struggle against aggressors waged by the people of Koguryo, a powerful state that existed in the East for a thousand years.

It also produced cartoon "A Scholar and His Three Sons" and "Ok Soe Destroys Evil" which were adapted from stories told by the peerlessly great persons as well as the series of "The Clever Raccoon Dog".

In those days, tens of creators, artistes and officials were awarded high-level state commendations.
