| Teaching Contests Held among Universities and Schools in Field of Art Education

| Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Teaching contests were held among universities and schools in the field of art education of the DPRK from August 29 to September 5 on the 45th anniversary of the publication of President Kim Il Sung's work "Theses on Socialist Education". Drawing attention of the participants in the contests were the new teaching methods conducive to making the students leading learners and training them to be the reserve artistes possessed of deep knowledge into music and high artistry. Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory, Pyongyang Music School No. 2, Sinuiju Conservatory, Sariwon Conservatory and Haeju Conservatory were highly appreciated in the contests. |
